Luckily the first year of your child’s life won’t be spent in his pediatrician’s office. Well baby checkups or well child care visits are scheduled only nine times per year. Generally well baby checks are scheduled as follows:
- Two-three days from discharge
- Two weeks
- One month
- Two months
- Three months
- Four months
- Six months
- Nine months
- One year

It also provides you with a printable worksheet you can take with you to your Doctor visit so you can be more prepared ahead of time and get the most out of your visit. I incorrectly assumed that check ups would be more frequent and hope that only minor events may bring us in for more visits!
